Black Cherry Tea Manhattan:
- 2 oz rye whiskey
- 1 oz sweet vermouth
- 1/2 oz black cherry syrup (recipe below)
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1/4 cup brewed Jenwey Tea's Black Cherry Tea, chilled
- Maraschino cherry, for garnish

To make the black cherry syrup: In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup pitted and halved black cherries, 1 cup water, and 1 cup granulated sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, until mixture is thick and syrupy. Strain through a fine mesh sieve, pressing on solids to extract as much liquid as possible. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
To make the cocktail: In a mixing glass, combine rye whiskey, sweet vermouth, black cherry syrup, and bitters. Stir with ice until well chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Top with the brewed Jenwey Tea's Black Cherry Tea, and garnish with a Maraschino cherry.
Black Cherry Tea Mocktail:
- 1/2 cup brewed Jenwey Tea's Black Cherry Tea, chilled
- 1/4 cup cherry juice
- 1/4 cup sparkling water
- 1 tbsp honey
- Fresh cherries, for garnish

To make the mocktail: In a shaker, combine the brewed Jenwey Tea's Black Cherry Tea, cherry juice, sparkling water, and honey. Shake with ice until well combined. Strain into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with fresh cherries.
